FEATURES
Fundamental attitudes in personality about oneself and one's relation to the world, along with all the psychological mechanisms which are needed to support and express those attitudes. In Robert Burton's teaching the principal features are VANITY, POWER, DOMINANCE, NONEXISTENCE, GREED, TRAMP, FEAR, NAÏVETÉ, WILLFULNESS, and LUNATIC. In each person, one of these is the CHIEF FEATURE, one or two others are strongly expressed, and there are traces of the remainder.
